Vegas Coins was a small American sweepstakes casino run by Vegas Coins Inc. It closed on 28 November 2025, saying the American sweepstakes market had become too hard to operate in. The closure has only ever been reported by one publisher. No cash-out deadline was published that we could find. At least one player says the site stopped working with no warning at all.

01 · The casino

A small site that never got big

Vegas Coins opened around the middle of 2024, run by a company called Vegas Coins Inc. It was a sweepstakes casino. Players bought a play coin and got a second coin alongside it. Only that second coin could be turned back into money.

It never got large. It had no famous games deal, no advertising campaign anyone remembers and no sister brand propping it up. It was one of a large group of small American sweepstakes sites. These sites opened while the model looked easy. They closed once it stopped being easy.

That size is the reason this record has more gaps than most. Small sites do not get written about. When they close, there is often nothing to go on but the notice they leave behind and what players say afterwards.

02 · The shutdown

The closure notice put it bluntly. The company said market conditions in the United States for sweepstakes had made it very hard to operate. It said it had no other choice but to close down.

That is an honest sentence and it matches what happened across the whole market through 2025. State after state moved against the sweepstakes model. Payment companies got nervous. The small companies were the first to run out of room.

What the notice did not include, as far as we can find, is a date by which players had to cash out. Every well-run closure on this site gives one. We could not find one here.

There is also a straight contradiction in the record that we cannot resolve. The notice reads like a planned wind-down with a thank-you to players. At least one player wrote publicly that the site shut with zero notice. Both cannot be right, and we have no way of telling which is.

03 · The money

Disputes on the way out

We have found no statement at all about what happened to balances held on the day the site closed. No deadline, no instructions, no follow-up.

What we do have is the public review page, which sits at about 3.5 out of 5 across roughly 54 reviews. Two complaints on it are worth recording. One player says a win of about 10,000 dollars was blocked over an accusation of holding more than one account. Another says a redemption of about 600 dollars was blocked after an identity and selfie check failed.

Both are player accounts, not proven facts. Blocked payouts over duplicate accounts and failed identity checks also happen at sites that have no money problems at all. We record them because they are the only account of how this operator handled money that exists in public.

The domain itself is unresolved. Our own attempts to load it in September 2026 timed out rather than failing outright. The web archive holds a capture from February 2026, three months after the closure date. That means something was still answering at that address. We could not retrieve what it showed.

This record is graded weaker than most on the site. One publisher, no cash-out deadline, an unexplained post-closure capture of the domain and a player account that contradicts the notice. If you have documents from Vegas Coins Inc., they would improve it.

We read the closure notice as quoted, searched for a second unrelated outlet reporting the date and did not find one, and read the public review page in full.
