01 · The casino
One site, two names, no licence
Buffalo Casino went live in July 2025, run by a company called Pacific Oak LLC. It took American and Canadian players. It accepted both crypto and ordinary bank cards. The games came from BetSoft, Rival, Dragoon Soft and Mancala Gaming.
It held no gambling licence. Not a weak one, not a cheap offshore one. None. Reviews written while it was live say so plainly. The site pointed players at something it called a Central Dispute System instead. This is not a regulator. It has no power to make anybody pay.
In early December 2025 the site changed its name to Lucky Bonanza Casino and moved to a new address. Same operator, same games, same lack of a licence. A name change like that resets a brand search history. It makes old complaints harder to find. Whether that was the intention we cannot say, but it is the effect.
02 · The shutdown
Closed in August 2026 with a one-line notice
The site closed in August 2026, around the eleventh of the month. We could not find any announcement made in advance. No deadline was published for players to get their money out. No explanation was given for why.
Four months earlier, on 7 April 2026, the Michigan Gaming Control Board took action. It ordered forty-five illegal offshore gambling operators to stop taking bets from people in that state. Both Buffalo Casino and Lucky Bonanza Casino were named separately on that list.
Being told to stop by one American state does not close a site down worldwide. We are not going to claim that it did. What it does is confirm the operation was illegal where it was selling, and put a date on when authorities noticed.
The old Buffalo Casino address no longer works at all. The Lucky Bonanza address still loads. It sends visitors to a page with a short notice. The notice says the site has shut its doors. It also tells them to check their email for information about their balance.
03 · The money
A thirty-five thousand dollar win that vanished
The clearest account of how this company handled money comes from a complaint filed on 3 March 2026, five months before the site closed.
A player deposited two hundred and ninety dollars, hit a large multiplier and reached a balance of about thirty-five thousand dollars. A five thousand dollar withdrawal moved to authorised status, which normally means it is on its way. The next day the account had been reset to the original two hundred and ninety dollar deposit. The casino pointed at bonus terms the player says were never shown to him.
The complaint was closed in the casino favour by the forum handling it, on the basis of those terms. The player got nothing beyond his own deposit back.
That is one case, and one case is not a pattern. But it is the only detailed account of a payout dispute at this company that exists in public. It happened while the site was still open and still wanted customers. We grade the money outcome as owed.
The closure notice telling players to check their email is the only instruction there ever was. With no licence and no regulator behind the site, there is no complaint route and no fund to claim from. That is what an unlicensed casino means in practice.
04 · The receipts
How we verified this record
Every claim on this page is graded by how firmly we could check it. Confirmed means we saw it in the operator’s own notice or in a document that cannot easily be faked. Observed means we saw it ourselves on the live site or domain on the date given. Unconfirmed means it has been reported but we could not prove it.
05 · The questions
Lucky Bonanza and Buffalo Casino – the questions still open
Q. Are Buffalo Casino and Lucky Bonanza the same site?
Yes. Buffalo Casino opened in July 2025 and changed its name to Lucky Bonanza Casino in December 2025. Same operator, same games.
Q. When did it close?
August 2026, around the eleventh. No advance notice or cash-out deadline was published that we could find.
Q. Was it licensed?
No. It held no gambling licence from any regulator.
Q. Was it shut down by a regulator?
Not exactly. Michigan ordered it to stop taking bets from that state in April 2026, alongside forty-four other illegal sites, but that order does not close a site worldwide.
Q. I am owed money. What can I do?
With no licence there is no regulator and no compensation scheme. A chargeback through your card provider or bank is the only realistic route, and only if the deposit is recent enough for them to act.
Q. What did the closure notice say?
That the site had shut its doors, and that players should check their email for information about their balance.
