01 · The brands

Three brands under one Brazilian licence

Brazil opened its legal betting market in January 2025. Companies had to buy a licence, and one licence let a company run up to three brand names.

Lindau Gaming Brasil S.A. used all three. It ran BetPark, Spin and OleyBet.

Spin was not new. It was a rebuild of an older platform called Faz o Bet Ai, relaunched under the Spin name in May 2025.

This is a different situation from an unlicensed casino disappearing. Everything here happened in public, through a government process, with dates published in the official gazette.

02 · The shutdown

Two brands dropped in three months

BetPark went first. Players were told to withdraw any remaining balance by 11 February 2026. The regulator formally approved removing the brand on 18 February 2026.

Spin followed. Its removal was approved on 13 May 2026 and announced the next day. Spin had only been trading under that name for about a year.

Neither closure came with a reason. The regulator paperwork is procedural. It records that the company asked to drop a brand and that permission was given. It does not say why.

The company was not punished and did not lose its licence. It still holds it and still runs OleyBet. This was a company deciding it had too many brands, not a regulator shutting anything down.

03 · The money

BetPark set a date, Spin said nothing

BetPark did the right thing. A notice on the site told players to take out any remaining balance before 11 February 2026. That is a clear published deadline.

For Spin we could not find an equivalent notice or deadline. That does not mean there was none. It means we could not find one.

Both addresses today show the same thing. We loaded them on 10 September 2026. Both show a page saying the site is under maintenance. Both give a support email address.

That email address matters. It is a working contact route, months after both brands stopped. Most closures in this archive leave nothing.

Anyone still owed money should email that address and, if that fails, complain to the Brazilian betting regulator. The company still holds a Brazilian licence, so the regulator has something to act on.

Both dead brands still show a support email on their maintenance page. Use it before anything else. A licensed Brazilian company with a live licence has a strong reason to answer.

How we verified this record

Every claim on this page is graded by how firmly we could check it. Confirmed means we saw it in the operator’s own notice or in a document that cannot easily be faked. Observed means we saw it ourselves on the live site or domain on the date given. Unconfirmed means it has been reported but we could not prove it.

ConfirmedRemoval of the BetPark brand was approved and published in the Brazilian official gazette on 18 February 2026Reported by two unrelated outlets covering the regulator decision.
ConfirmedBetPark players were told to withdraw remaining balances by 11 February 2026Reported in the same coverage of the closure.
ConfirmedRemoval of the Spin brand was approved on 13 May 2026 and announced the following dayReported by two unrelated Brazilian trade outlets, citing the regulator order.
ConfirmedBoth brands belonged to Lindau Gaming Brasil S.A., which still runs OleyBetNamed in the regulator orders and the coverage of them.
ConfirmedSpin was a relaunch of an earlier platform, from May 2025Given in Brazilian coverage of the brand.
ObservedBoth addresses show a maintenance page with a support emailLoaded on 10 September 2026. Both return the same page in Portuguese.
UnconfirmedWhy either brand was droppedThe regulator orders are procedural and give no reason, and the company has not published one.
UnconfirmedWhether Spin players were given a withdrawal deadlineWe could not find one.
What we checked, and what we did not. We took both removal dates from coverage of the published regulator orders, and checked each against a second unrelated outlet. We took the BetPark player deadline from the coverage of its closure notice. We loaded both addresses ourselves on 10 September 2026 and recorded what they show. We searched for a Spin withdrawal deadline and could not find one, and we say that rather than assuming there was none. We did not contact Lindau Gaming Brasil S.A. Last independently checked: 10 September 2026.
