SweepNext was a Cyprus-run sweepstakes casino that lasted less than a year. It launched in May 2025 and in April 2026 told its players to move to LuckyStake, a separate brand run by ElevateTech Ltd, before shutting its own doors. Four months later LuckyStake closed too, so anyone who followed the migration went through two closures in one year.

01 · The casino

A big lobby, a Cypriot operator and a short life

SweepNext launched in May 2025 on the usual dual-currency sweepstakes model: Gold Coins for play, Sweeps Coins redeemable for cash prizes, and a free entry route. The operator was Boostora Ltd, registered at Archiepiskopou Makariou III 225, Limassol, Cyprus, which is unusual for a brand selling into the American sweeps market; most operators of any size are incorporated in the United States, Malta or Australia. The lobby was large for a new site, with more than 1,000 titles from fifteen or so studios including Big Time Gaming, NetEnt, Nolimit City, Red Tiger, Relax Gaming and Spinomenal.

It blocked players in California, Connecticut, Idaho, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee and Washington, thirteen states before the 2026 legislative wave had even started. Reviewers rated it reasonably well on games and promotions, and there was nothing in its first months to mark it out as a brand about to fold.

02 · The shutdown

Told players to go next door, then closed

In April 2026 SweepNext announced that its users were being transferred to LuckyStake Casino, operated by ElevateTech Ltd, and shut down. The language at the time was of a merger, with the two brands combining under the LuckyStake name. No public reason was given for Boostora giving up its own brand less than a year after launch. The pattern, a small operator handing its player base to another small operator rather than winding down alone, usually points to a business that could not carry its own compliance and marketing costs in a shrinking market.

The migration bought the players four months. LuckyStake announced a marketing slowdown in March 2026, a month before it took SweepNext’s players on, and on 14 August 2026 it ended gameplay and purchases itself, with a redemption cut-off of 20 August 2026. So the merger that was meant to give SweepNext players a home instead moved them into another closure. Both brands are now gone and neither operator has another sweepstakes site in the market.

03 · The money

Two closures, two sets of rules, one player base

The migration to LuckyStake meant SweepNext balances were handled under LuckyStake rules from April 2026. Any Sweeps Coins that were transferred rather than redeemed at SweepNext then fell under LuckyStake’s closure terms: redemption requests had to be filed by 11:59pm Eastern on 20 August 2026, and requests filed in time were to be reviewed after accounts closed. Anything not requested by that deadline was lost. Gold Coins never had cash value on either site.

If you had a SweepNext account, migrated, and are still waiting on a LuckyStake redemption, the stated contact is [email protected]. If you never migrated and still believe you had a Sweeps Coins balance at SweepNext itself, there is no published route: Boostora gave no post-closure contact and sweepnext.com no longer serves a live casino. Keep any confirmation emails from either brand, and record the dates and amounts. We have no reports of unpaid SweepNext balances, and no reports of paid ones either; this record stays open.
