01 · The group
Dozens of casinos, one licence
Winzon Group Limited was a Malta company. It held one licence from the Malta Gaming Authority, numbered MGA/B2C/717/2019.
Under that single licence it ran a long list of casino brands. A public group directory lists around 39 of them. The names include Comix Casino, Freaky Aces, OG Casino, Casdep, Wintika, PlayDingo, Winolla, Wilderino and Dinospin. We have not checked each of those names one by one, so we treat the full list as reported rather than proven.
This is how a lot of online gambling works. One company gets one licence. It then launches many casinos that look like separate businesses. Different names, different colours, different adverts. Same owner, same software, same terms and the same support staff.
Say a player has a bad experience at one casino. He picks another one. He can easily end up back with the same company without knowing.
02 · The shutdown
The regulator pulled the licence
On 11 March 2026 the Malta Gaming Authority cancelled the licence. It published the decision on 7 April 2026.
The stated reason was numerous shortcomings by the company. The regulator did not list them in the public notice. It used a section of Malta gambling rules. That rule lets it cancel a licence when a company fails to meet its duties.
The money side was set out clearly. The company was fined 147,080 euros. It was also told to hand over 46,693 euros in fees and payments it had not made.
A cancelled licence is much stronger than a warning. It means the company was no longer allowed to run any of those casinos under Malta rules from that date.
03 · The money
Ordered to pay everyone back
The regulator gave a direct instruction. Winzon Group had to tell its players what had happened. It had 30 days to do it. It then had to pay back every player balance in full.
It also had to prove it. The order says the company must show documents, such as bank statements, that the refunds were actually made.
That is a strong order. We cannot tell you whether it was obeyed. We found no public confirmation that the refunds were paid, and no complaints saying they were not.
Anyone who held a balance at one of these casinos should contact the Malta Gaming Authority. The refund order is public. It is the strongest position a player in this archive has been left in.
04 · The sites now
Some closed, some still open and still wrong
We loaded four of these casinos ourselves on 10 September 2026. What we found was not the same everywhere.
Freaky Aces and OG Casino are gone. Both addresses now lead to pages offering the domain name for sale. Comix Casino was already listed as closed back in October 2024, well before the licence was cancelled.
Casdep and Wintika are still fully open. They still take sign-ups and deposits. And Casdep still prints the licence number MGA/B2C/717/2019 on its pages, six months after that licence was cancelled.
That is the point of this record. A licence number on a casino page is not proof of anything. It can sit there long after the regulator has taken the licence away. The only way to be sure is to look the number up on the regulator own site.
05 · The receipts
How we verified this record
Every claim on this page is graded by how firmly we could check it. Confirmed means we saw it in the operator’s own notice or in a document that cannot easily be faked. Observed means we saw it ourselves on the live site or domain on the date given. Unconfirmed means it has been reported but we could not prove it.
06 · The questions
Winzon Group casinos – the questions still open
Q. What happened to Winzon Group?
The Malta Gaming Authority cancelled its licence on 11 March 2026, fined it 147,080 euros and ordered it to refund every player.
Q. Which casinos were affected?
Around 39 brands shared the licence, including Comix Casino, Freaky Aces, OG Casino, Casdep, Wintika, PlayDingo, Winolla, Wilderino and Dinospin.
Q. Are they all closed?
No. Freaky Aces and OG Casino are gone. Casdep and Wintika were still open when we checked in September 2026.
Q. A site still shows the Malta licence number. Is it valid?
No. That licence was cancelled in March 2026. Always check a licence number on the regulator own website rather than trusting the casino page.
Q. I had money at one of these casinos. What can I do?
Contact the Malta Gaming Authority. The refund order is public, which puts you in a stronger position than most closed casinos allow.
Q. Were players actually paid back?
We do not know. The order was made. We could find no proof that it was carried out.
