01 · The site
A licence claim nobody could check
BTC365 opened in 2021, run by a company called Kamchiya Technology Ltd. It offered both a casino and sports betting, paid for in cryptocurrency.
The site claimed a gambling licence from Montenegro. This is the part worth reading carefully.
A complaints service tried to verify that claim while the site was still trading and could not. It has not been able to verify it since either. So the licence was either not real, or not real in the way the site made it sound.
It got stranger. Later a player tried to make a formal complaint. The service told him to go to the gambling authority in Anjouan. That is a different country altogether. He could not, because the site did not display the licence details that a formal complaint there requires.
Put simply, the site claimed one country licence, was pointed at another country regulator, and gave players nothing they could actually use.
02 · The shutdown
Closed in March 2025
The casino closed in March 2025. Directory sites that had tracked it since 2021 changed its status.
No reason was published. No closure notice, no deadline and no statement of any kind has been found.
We could not load the address on 10 September 2026. Our request was refused before any page came back. That could be a country block, a block on automated visitors, or a dead site, and we cannot tell which.
03 · The money
Accounts closed during a membership change
The clearest account comes from a player in Spain, and it is dated.
He lost access to his account between 23 and 28 January 2025. He says the casino brought in a paid membership scheme. It called it VIP membership. It closed every account that was not on a paid level. It kept the money in those accounts. The amount in his case was about 400 dollars.
He filed his complaint on 14 February 2025. It was still unresolved on 19 March 2025. The complaints service logged 800 penalty points against the casino and got no reply from the operator at all.
Then the site closed the same month.
That is one player and one complaint, so we are not going to claim it happened to everybody. But the sequence is clear: accounts closed in January, money kept, no answer to the complaint, site gone by March.
There is no way to recover money here. The licence claim cannot be verified, so there is no regulator with power over the company. Crypto payments mean there is no card provider or bank to ask for a chargeback.
04 · The receipts
How we verified this record
Every claim on this page is graded by how firmly we could check it. Confirmed means we saw it in the operator’s own notice or in a document that cannot easily be faked. Observed means we saw it ourselves on the live site or domain on the date given. Unconfirmed means it has been reported but we could not prove it.
05 · The questions
BTC365 – the questions still open
Q. When did BTC365 close?
March 2025. No notice or deadline was published.
Q. Was it licensed?
It claimed a licence from Montenegro. A complaints service tried to verify that while the site was live and could not.
Q. What happened to player accounts?
One player says accounts below a paid membership level were closed and the money kept, in January 2025. That is a single account and the operator never replied to it.
Q. Can I get my money back?
Realistically no. The licence claim cannot be verified, so there is no regulator to complain to, and crypto payments leave no bank or card provider to ask.
Q. Why did it close?
No reason has ever been published.
Q. How do I check a licence claim on any site?
Look the number up on the named regulator own website. If the site names a country but gives no checkable number, the claim is worth nothing.
