Conquestador was an online casino licensed in Ontario from 2023. It stopped serving Ontario players on 13 April 2026. The company called it a business decision and said it had nothing to do with any regulator problem. Players were given six months to ask for their money. That is the longest withdrawal window in this archive.

01 · The site

A licensed Ontario casino

Conquestador is run by a company called Mobinc. It launched in Ontario in 2023 under a licence from the AGCO, the Ontario regulator.

Ontario opened its online gambling market in 2022. Dozens of casinos applied. The market has been shedding brands ever since, because there are far more of them than the province can support.

Conquestador was one of the smaller names in that group. It was never a household brand in Canada.

02 · The shutdown

A business decision, said plainly

Ontario operations ended on 13 April 2026.

The company was unusually clear about why. It called the closure a business decision to stop operating in the Ontario market. It also said directly that it was not to do with any regulatory or compliance problem.

That matters. Most companies in this archive say nothing at all, which leaves players guessing whether the site was pushed out. Conquestador said it was not.

The regulator did not contradict that. There was no fine, no order and no investigation reported.

03 · The money

Six months to ask for your balance

Conquestador gave players six months after 13 April 2026 to send a withdrawal request.

Compare that with the rest of this archive. Casumo gave Ontario players two weeks after the last day of play. It then kept anything left. Several sweepstakes casinos gave a few days. Some gave nothing.

Six months is long enough that almost nobody should have lost money through simply not noticing. That is the whole point of a long window.

We have found no complaints from Ontario players. We have no confirmation that every request was paid either.

04 · The site now

What the brand is doing today is unclear

Here the record gets murky, and we would rather say so than tidy it up.

We tried to load the site on 10 September 2026. It refused our request. That can mean a country block, a block on automated visitors, or a dead site. We cannot tell which.

One review site says the casino has closed altogether. Another, updated in August 2026, still lists it as trading but under a licence from the Comoros islands, not from Ontario or Malta.

If that second report is right, the brand has moved. It would have gone from a strict market to a very weak offshore one. We cannot confirm that, so we are not stating it as fact. What we can say is that Conquestador as an Ontario licensed casino ended on 13 April 2026.

A brand name can survive a move to a much weaker licence. You may find a site using that name today. Check which regulator it names before you put any money in.

How we verified this record

Every claim on this page is graded by how firmly we could check it. Confirmed means we saw it in the operator’s own notice or in a document that cannot easily be faked. Observed means we saw it ourselves on the live site or domain on the date given. Unconfirmed means it has been reported but we could not prove it.

ConfirmedThe brand launched in Ontario in 2023 under an AGCO licenceGiven in the same reports.
ObservedThe site refused our requestChecked on 10 September 2026. We received a refusal rather than a page, which could be a country block, a block on automated visitors, or a dead site.
UnconfirmedWhether the brand has closed everywhere or moved to an offshore licenceTwo review sites disagree. One says it has closed. One, updated in August 2026, lists it under a Comoros licence.
UnconfirmedWhether every withdrawal request inside the six month window was paidNo complaints found, and no confirmation either.
What we checked, and what we did not. We cross-checked the closing date, the six month withdrawal window and the company own statement across two unrelated Canadian gambling outlets. We tried to load the site ourselves on 10 September 2026 and recorded the refusal without guessing what caused it. We compared two review sites on the current status of the brand and report that they disagree rather than picking one. We did not contact Mobinc. Last independently checked: 10 September 2026.

06 · The questions

Conquestador Ontario – the questions still open

Q. When did Conquestador leave Ontario?

13 April 2026.

Q. Why did it leave?

The company called it a business decision and said plainly that it was not caused by any regulatory or compliance problem.

Q. How long did players have to withdraw?

Six months from 13 April 2026. That is the longest window of any closure recorded on this site.

Q. Is the casino still open somewhere else?

We could not establish that. One review site says it has closed. Another says it now runs under a Comoros licence. We could not load the site ourselves to check.

Q. Was it forced out by the regulator?

No. No fine, order or investigation was reported, and the company said the opposite.

Q. Who do I complain to if I am still owed?

The Ontario regulator, the AGCO, which licensed the site at the time.
