01 · The brands
Four casinos, one owner
Wildz, Wheelz, Caxino and Spinz look like four separate casinos. They are not. All four belong to one company.
That company used to be called Rootz Ltd. In 2025 it renamed itself Wildz Group, after its biggest brand. The trading company behind the sites is Granturo Malta Ltd, and it holds a Malta licence.
This is the same pattern seen elsewhere in this archive. One owner, several casino names, one platform underneath. Say a player has a bad time at Caxino and moves to Spinz. He has not really changed company at all.
The group sells into several countries, including Germany, New Zealand, Finland and French-speaking Canada. It does not hold a British licence. Its own licensing page says so and tells British visitors to check the regulator list themselves.
02 · The shutdown
Out of Ontario, still selling elsewhere
In October 2025 all four brands stopped operating in Ontario.
Ontario opened to licensed online gambling in 2022. A lot of companies rushed in. A lot have since left, because there are more brands than the market can carry.
The company chief executive said only that the group was stopping its sales to players in Ontario. He called the market intensely competitive. That is the whole public explanation.
It did not leave the province completely. It kept a second Ontario licence. That one lets it sell services to other gambling firms. So the company still works in Ontario. It just does not sell to Ontario players any more.
03 · The money
Nothing was published about balances
We have to be blunt here. We could not find out what happened to Ontario player balances.
No withdrawal deadline was published that we can find. No instructions to players were published either. The coverage of the exit does not mention money at all.
That is a gap, not an accusation. Nothing suggests anyone was left short. We simply cannot tell you what players were told.
One thing does help. The company is still trading. Its four brands are still live in other countries. It still holds licences in Malta and in Ontario. A company that is still selling has good reason to settle an old balance.
An Ontario player who is still owed money should complain to the Ontario regulator, the AGCO. The company held an Ontario licence at the time, which is what makes that route possible.
04 · The receipts
How we verified this record
Every claim on this page is graded by how firmly we could check it. Confirmed means we saw it in the operator’s own notice or in a document that cannot easily be faked. Observed means we saw it ourselves on the live site or domain on the date given. Unconfirmed means it has been reported but we could not prove it.
05 · The questions
Wildz, Wheelz, Caxino and Spinz – the questions still open
Q. Have these casinos closed?
Only in Ontario. All four stopped serving Ontario players in October 2025 and are still open in other countries.
Q. Are they really the same company?
Yes. All four are run by Wildz Group, formerly Rootz Ltd, trading as Granturo Malta Ltd.
Q. Why did they leave Ontario?
The company said only that the market was intensely competitive. No fuller reason was given.
Q. What happened to my balance?
Nothing was published. No deadline or instruction to players has been found, which is a gap in the record rather than evidence of a problem.
Q. Who do I complain to?
The Ontario regulator, the AGCO. The company held an Ontario licence at the time, and it still holds a business licence there.
Q. Did a regulator force them out?
No. There was no fine, order or investigation. It was the company own decision.
