01 · The site

Licensed properly, and still gone in seven months

Peru brought in a proper licensing system for online betting. The system is run by its trade and tourism ministry, Mincetur. Jugabet went through it. The licence was granted on 23 May 2024 to Amazul Peru S.A.C. The site opened for business in August 2024.

This matters. It makes Jugabet the opposite of most records on this site. This was not a nameless offshore operation. It was a company that applied to a government. It was checked, approved and listed.

Coverage of the launch connected the brand to an international betting group called Growe. Its Latin American manager spoke for it publicly. We could not find a company document proving that link. So we record it as reported rather than established.

Seven months is a very short life for a business. This business went to the trouble of getting a licence. Applying for one costs real money and takes real time. Nobody does that intending to stop before the first year is out.

02 · The shutdown

Stopped in two steps, explained in none

The wind-down was done in two clean steps. On 24 February 2025 the site stopped accepting new sign-ups and stopped taking deposits. On 3 March 2025 it closed completely.

That gave existing players a week. In that week they could still use and withdraw what they already had. They could not put more money in. That is a sensible way to close a site. It is more thought than most operators manage.

What is missing is any reason. Peruvian coverage of the closure states this directly. The company withdrew from the market without saying why. There was no regulator action, no fine and no order. Mincetur did not push it out.

So here is the honest summary. A licensed operator opened. It spent seven months trying. It decided the business was not working and left quietly. That happens in every regulated market that has just opened. Peru had only just opened.

03 · The money

The notice is still there, and it still gives an address

Balances and bonuses stayed usable and withdrawable up to the closing date of 3 March 2025.

More than eighteen months later the site is still up and still explains itself. Loading it today gives a short Spanish notice. The notice says the site is closed. It also tells anyone whose remaining balance was larger than the withdrawal limit to contact support by email.

Leaving a working notice and a contact route up for a year and a half after closing is unusual. It counts in the operator favour. Almost every site in this archive has either vanished or been sold to a domain trader.

One comment attached to the Peruvian coverage alleges a player was not paid. It is a single unverified comment. It has no detail and no follow-up. We are not going to build a judgement on it. We grade the money outcome as unproven rather than owed.

Anyone still holding a Jugabet balance has a real route. That is rare. The operator was licensed by Mincetur. That means a complaint can be taken to the ministry. The closure notice itself gives a support address to write to first.

Jugabet held a Mincetur licence. Because of that, a Peruvian player with an unpaid balance can complain to the ministry that licensed it. Start with the support email still shown on the closure notice. Keep a copy of what you send.

How we verified this record

Every claim on this page is graded by how firmly we could check it. Confirmed means we saw it in the operator’s own notice. Or we saw it in a document that cannot easily be faked. Observed means we saw it ourselves. We saw it on the live site or domain, on the date given. Unconfirmed means it has been reported but we could not prove it.

What we checked, and what we did not. We loaded the site ourselves on 10 September 2026 and read the notice still published there. We cross-checked both closure dates and the withdrawal terms across two unrelated Peruvian betting outlets and against the notice itself, and confirmed the licence date and launch month against Peruvian national press coverage from 2024. We looked for a stated reason and for regulator action and found neither. We did not contact Amazul Peru S.A.C. Last independently checked: 10 September 2026.
