Mega Frenzy was a US sweepstakes casino run by Heuston Gaming Limited. On 14 April 2026 it emailed players to say it would close on 30 April 2026. Any Gold Coins or Sweepstakes Coins left after that date would expire. It was the second sweepstakes site Heuston had closed in a year. The first was Sweeptastic, which shut on 1 May 2025.

01 · The shutdown

Sixteen days from email to shutdown

The closure was announced by email on 14 April 2026. The subject line was Important: Service Announcement. The message said that from 30 April 2026 players would no longer be able to log in, play games, cash out prizes or reach their account. It also said that all Gold Coins and Sweepstakes Coins still on the site after that date would expire.

That gave players sixteen days. It is not long, but it is more than many sweepstakes sites gave in 2026. Some closed with a week of notice. Some gave none.

The email gave a reason, which is rare. It pointed to California, which banned Sweeps Coin play at the start of 2026, and to the US sweepstakes market getting smaller as more states passed laws against it. California had been one of the biggest markets for these sites, so losing it hurt.

02 · The casino

A big game library and a family history of closures

Mega Frenzy opened in June 2025. It had over 1,300 games, which is a lot for a sweepstakes casino. Many sites of this type have a few hundred. It used Gold Coins for fun play and Sweepstakes Coins for the play that could be turned into cash.

It was run by Heuston Gaming Limited. That company also ran a site called Sweeptastic, which closed on 1 May 2025, almost exactly a year before Mega Frenzy. So players who moved from Sweeptastic to Mega Frenzy went through two closures in twelve months.

Heuston also runs a site called Cazino. As of the date of this record, Cazino is still open. Whether it stays open is something we will watch, given the company’s track record.

Early on, Mega Frenzy described itself as a legal offshore casino. That wording was unusual for a sweepstakes site and may have drawn more attention from regulators than the company wanted.

03 · The money

What the email said about balances

The rule was clear. Cash out your Sweepstakes Coins by 30 April 2026 or lose them. The email said remaining coins would expire after that date. There was no offer to move balances to Cazino or any other Heuston site.

We have not seen public confirmation that every cash-out request sent in time was paid. We also have not seen a run of complaints saying people were not paid. So the money outcome is graded Unconfirmed. The site had a clear process, but we cannot prove it was followed for every player.

If you sent a request before 30 April and never got paid, keep your screenshots and any emails. The company still exists and still runs Cazino, so there is at least a real business to write to.
