01 · The site
A celebrity casino, then a takeover
VinderCasino launched in Denmark in 2022. Its public face was Janni Ree, a Danish reality TV star who was also a co-owner.
That is a normal way to launch a casino in a small country. A famous local face gets you noticed faster than advertising does.
About a year before it closed, the business was bought by Stake. Stake set up a Danish company called Stake Denmark A/S. From that point VinderCasino and Stake.dk were the same company running two brands.
02 · The shutdown
Two brands became one
VinderCasino closed on 31 March 2026.
The reason was straightforward and the company said it plainly. It wanted its Danish business on one platform, Stake.dk, instead of two.
This was not a failure. Nobody went bust, no licence was taken away and no regulator got involved. One company decided it did not need two brands in a country of six million people.
We keep records like this because the effect on a player is real even when the cause is boring. Your casino stops existing and your account has to move.
03 · The money
They dropped the minimum withdrawal to one krone
This is the detail that makes this record worth reading.
Most casinos have a minimum withdrawal. Often ten or twenty euros. If your balance is below it when a site closes, you cannot take it out, and the site keeps it. That is how small balances quietly disappear across this whole archive.
VinderCasino dropped its minimum withdrawal to one Danish krone, which is about eight pence. That meant every player could empty their account down to almost nothing before the closing date.
Players were also moved across to Stake.dk with a welcome gift rather than being left to find their own way.
We found no complaints. We cannot confirm every single account was emptied, because nobody publishes that. But the arrangement was designed so that nobody needed to lose anything. That is more than almost any other closure here can say.
We loaded the old address on 10 September 2026 and it now sends visitors straight to Stake.dk.
04 · The receipts
How we verified this record
Every claim on this page is graded by how firmly we could check it. Confirmed means we saw it in the operator’s own notice or in a document that cannot easily be faked. Observed means we saw it ourselves on the live site or domain on the date given. Unconfirmed means it has been reported but we could not prove it.
05 · The questions
VinderCasino – the questions still open
Q. When did VinderCasino close?
31 March 2026.
Q. Why did it close?
Its owner, Stake Denmark A/S, decided to run one Danish brand instead of two and moved everything to Stake.dk.
Q. Did anyone lose money?
It was set up so they should not have. The minimum withdrawal was dropped to one Danish krone so every account could be emptied, and players were moved to Stake.dk.
Q. Where do I log in now?
The old address sends you to Stake.dk, which is run by the same company.
Q. Was this a failure or a scandal?
Neither. No bankruptcy, no licence loss and no regulator action. It was a brand merger.
Q. I have seen other VinderCasino sites. Are they real?
Several similarly named domains exist and are unconnected affiliate pages, not the operator. The real site now redirects to Stake.dk.
