A Californian company in a state that was about to ban sweeps
Grand Vault opened quietly in August 2025 and went fully public soon after. It used the normal two-coin system. Gold Coins were for fun. Sweeps Coins could be turned into cash once you had at least 50 dollars’ worth and had passed an ID check. The site said cash-outs took one to five days.
The company behind it was 247 Entertainment LLC. Its listed address was a suite in Tustin, California. It worked with a group called National Sweepstakes Group and with a Romanian payments company, AppGreat EU SRL.
The California address matters. California passed a law, Assembly Bill 831, that banned Sweeps Coin play in the state from 1 January 2026. The company was based in California. A large share of its players were probably there too. That put it in a bad position when the law took effect. Grand Vault stopped working about a month later.
02 · The shutdown
Dark in February, with no explanation
We could not find a closing notice from Grand Vault. No email was quoted by players. Nothing was posted on social media. The home page did not carry a message. Industry sites simply recorded that the site had been closed since February 2026.
Players on forums reported two things around the time it stopped working. Some said cash-out requests were ignored. Some said their balances were lost when the site stopped loading. We have not been able to check those reports one by one, so we treat them as reports, not proven facts.
Because there was no notice, there was no cash-out deadline. That is the worst kind of closure for players. A site with a deadline at least gives people a chance. A site that just stops gives nobody anything.
Grand Vault was one of the first sweepstakes casinos to go in 2026. Many more followed through the spring and summer as other states passed laws like California’s.
03 · The money
Lost balances and one thing to try
If you had Sweeps Coins on Grand Vault when it stopped working, we know of no way to get them out. There is no site, no announced contact and no claims process.
Say you bought coin packs by card in the weeks before February 2026 and could not then cash out. Ask your card provider about a chargeback. Explain that the service was withdrawn without notice. It is not certain to work, but it is the only route left.
Our grade for the money outcome is Unconfirmed. Player reports point to unpaid balances, but there is no company statement and no figures, so we cannot call it Confirmed.
